Introduction to barbering (non-NVQ course)
Introduction
Using key elements and skills from the full NVQ courses, our Introduction to Barbering course has been specially created to provide the basic skills for barbering, to the extent that you can complete basic services competently. This course is ideally suited to people who have no experience in barbering and want to train as a barber within a short time, don’t require an NVQ and wish to offer just basic barbering, perhaps just for friends and family. Upon completion you would receive a LAFHAB Certificate, and you may then wish to consider undertaking a full NVQ at a later date.

The fee for this introductory course is £1895 (fully inclusive*), you can spread the cost by paying a deposit and spreading the cost over up to 3 months with a credit agreement.
Training kit
You will need a training kit, optionally available to purchase from us – details available upon request. You will also need training heads (typically 2), these are also available to purchase from us.
Course duration
This course takes 12 weeks to complete, at 1 day a week. Start dates are to be advised, limited spaces available. Please contact us to express your interest
