Hairdressing & Barbering Taster Days
We know that some people may be a little hesitant about committing to a course, especially those who are thinking of a career change. So to give people a chance to see what is involved, we offer Taster Days. Prospective clients can see for themselves many aspects of Hairdressing/Barbering training, allowing them to get a feel of it, then decide if they wish to sign up for a course.
We now also require everyone wishing to start a course to undertake a taster Day first, so that they can sample the training before committing.
Typically, the morning training will consist of a brief Induction, followed by theoretical training from 1 or 2 units. After a 45 min lunch break, the afternoon will be spent in the cutting room, practicing styling on dolls heads, and you may have the opportunity to observe or assist with a service in the main salon.
Our aim is to provide a brief sample of the theoretical and practical training and salon experience, and for you to get a feel for our Academy and the facilities. On a Taster Day you will join in with other training happening that day, therefore the exact content of a Taster day will vary.
The hours are approximately 10am – 3.30pm.
The fee for a taster day is only £30, (which is credited against the full fee for people who then sign up for a course).
You can choose your preferred day, Wednesday to Friday.
There is no obligation to take a course after, our Taster Days are simply designed to allow people to get a taste of the training in the amazing hairdressing & barbering industry.
Places for our Taster Days are limited and must be booked in advance, and the fee of £30 must be paid at time of booking. The fee is non-refundable, however you will be able to reschedule your Taster Day if required
