About the Apprenticeships
Our Hairdressing and Barbering apprenticeships are designed to give you real salon experience while you learn. You’ll be working in a professional salon or barbershop, building your skills day-to-day while training towards a nationally recognised qualification.

What You’ll Get

A recognised Level 2 qualification (with progression to Level 3)

What You’ll Learn
Depending on your pathway, you’ll develop skills such as:

Client consultation and communication
Shampooing and scalp massage
Cutting and styling techniques
Colouring (hairdressing) or fades & grooming (barbering)
Professional salon standards and health & safety

Entry Requirements
You can apply if you are:

Aged 16 or over
Living in the UK
Not in full-time education

No previous experience is required — just passion, commitment, and a willingness to learn.

Important – Salon Placement
As part of the apprenticeship, you will need to secure a salon or barbershop placement.
If you don’t have one yet, don’t worry — we can support and guide you through finding the right placement.
